Teja Sajja is fast becoming the face of the new wave of Indian superhero cinema. After HanuMan struck a chord nationwide, the actor returned with Mirai, a film that positions mythology and cosmic power at the center of a modern hero story. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film impressed audiences for its blend of visual spectacle, emotional depth, and a story rooted in traditional Indian narratives rather than Western superhero tropes.
Mirai first arrived on Jio Hotstar on October 10, 2025, following a successful theatrical run. However, the film was initially made available only in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The absence of the Hindi version became a talking point, mainly because HanuMan drew a large North Indian audience and established Teja Sajja as a recognizable face across linguistic borders.
A standard post-theatrical release rule delays the Hindi dub on streaming for at least eight weeks, especially when the makers believe the film can continue drawing audiences in cinemas across North India. According to a report by 123Telugu, the Hindi-dubbed version of Mirai is now scheduled to release on November 7, 2025, on Jio Hotstar. However, the makers have not formally announced the date yet, so viewers should wait for an official confirmation.

At its core, Mirai follows a young man who is chosen to wield a mystical divine staff—a celestial weapon tied to ancient myth and destiny. His journey from ordinary to extraordinary forms the heart of the film. The movie avoids comic-book style flashiness and instead leans into the spiritual and cultural symbolism often found in Indian epics. This gives the action sequences and character arcs a different tone compared to typical superhero stories.
Alongside Teja Sajja, the film features Manchu Manoj, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, Jayaram, and Getup Srinu. Gowra Hari’s music plays a major role in shaping the film’s atmosphere, heightening the mystical and mythological resonance of key scenes.
According to Sacnilk, Mirai has earned over Rs 100 crore in India, against a reported budget of around Rs 60 crore, marking it as a commercial success. With the Hindi release approaching, the film is set for a new wave of audience discovery online.
