Actor Nithiin has expressed deep grief over the horrific road accident near Chevella that claimed several lives, leaving families shattered and an entire community in mourning.
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a heartfelt message on his story, writing,
“Heartbroken to hear about the tragic road accident near Chevella. So many innocent lives lost... My deepest condolences to the families grieving this unimaginable loss. Prayers for strength and healing.”
His words echoed the collective sorrow felt across Telangana after the tragic incident unfolded early Sunday morning.
According to Shah Rukh Khan himself opened up about his role in **‘King’** during a fan meet on his birthday. He said, *“I just feel, film ke andar naa kuchh interesting agar hum nahi karenge, toh wohi shots ke andar hero aayega, do gaane gaayega, do fight karega, chala jaayega. Toh, King ka jo character hai, bohot hi interesting hai. Siddharth aur Sujoy ne bohot prem se likha hai. Aur usme bohot saari buraaiyaan hain. Khooni hai, logo ko maar deta hai aur poochta bhi nahi, ‘kitne the kabhi poocha nahi’. I think storytelling ke liye, aur isliye nahi ki youngsters ab filmein dekhte hain, I think bohot zaroori hai ki mere jaise hero log jo hain, woh alag alag roles play karein. Kuchh inspiring ho, kuchh aspiring ho, kuchh comic ho, kuchh romantic ho."* SRK’s words reveal his excitement for a character that’s layered and unpredictable, while Anand’s playful social media response shows that sometimes it’s best to laugh off online debates. With anticipation building, **‘King’** promises not just style and action, but a story that keeps audiences hooked from start to finish. If you like, I can also create an even more **engaging, human-interest version** that emphasises SRK’s personality, the fan reactions, and the social media frenzy, making it read more like a lively news feature. Do you want me to do that?" target="_blank">official reports, at least 19 people, including 13 women, five men, and a two-month-old baby, lost their lives when a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus collided head-on with an overloaded tipper lorry near Indira Reddy Nagar in Mirjaguda, under the Chevella police limits of Rangareddy district.
The crash occurred around 6:15 am, when the bus, travelling from Tandur to Chevella, was struck by the speeding truck coming from the opposite direction.
Initial investigations have revealed a devastating combination of factors — rash driving, overloading, and the absence of a road divider — that turned the highway stretch into a deadly trap.

Officials confirmed that the lorry was carrying between 40 and 50 tonnes of gravel, more than double its legal limit of 20 tonnes. The excessive weight likely made the vehicle difficult to control, causing it to lose balance and topple during the impact. The bus, meanwhile, was packed with nearly 70 passengers, far beyond its 51-seat capacity.
Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos and heartbreak as the tipper’s gravel load crushed part of the bus. Many passengers reportedly died on the spot, while others were trapped and suffocated under the debris before rescuers could reach the site. Emergency responders and local residents worked together for hours to pull survivors from the wreckage.
While rescue and medical teams continue to assist the injured, the accident has reignited public anger about overloaded vehicles, poor road conditions, and lax enforcement of safety norms on highways.
