Rashmika Mandanna says it's the people around her who help her stay grounded

Rashmika Mandanna has quickly risen from a promising newcomer to a major star, thanks to her roles in films like Animal and Pushpa 2: The Rule over the past nine years.

In an interview, the actress opened up about why she remains grounded despite the massive success of her recent films. She shared that staying humble has always been important to her, as she believes it keeps her connected to her roots and allows her to focus on her craft rather than getting overwhelmed by fame.

Rashmika emphasised the importance of hard work and gratitude, noting that she values the support of her fans and colleagues, which motivates her to keep growing in her career.

While talking to Femina, Rashmika mentioned, "Luckily, it’s not an extra effort that I need to make (to have humility). My brain is already wired in a way... (I know) that all the things that we adore, all the things we enjoy, all these luxuries, can stay or go in an instant. That is something that keeps me grounded and connected to my roots."

Rashmika also acknowledged the role of her family and friends in helping her stay grounded despite her success. She said, "They’re the right kind of people in my life, all of whom believe in being grounded... so that also plays a very important part and really helps, you know? Surrounded by such people, I can say I’m in a good space right now."

Rashmika's last two films were major successes – Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 2023 Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Sukumar's 2024 Pushpa 2: The Rule featuring Allu Arjun. Her performances in both movies were also highly praised.

The actor has an exciting lineup of films ahead, including Chhaava, Sikandar, and Thama in Hindi, along with The Girlfriend and Kubera in Telugu.

Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal is set to hit theaters on February 14, while the release dates for the other projects are yet to be revealed.

With a diverse range of films across languages, Rashmika is expected to continue her successful streak and further solidify her place in both Bollywood and the South Indian film industry.
