A few days after Bollywood actor Aamir Khan filed an FIR against an unknown person for his deepfake video, now a fake video of Ranveer Singh is being circulated online.
The actor’s video that has gone viral shows him in Varanasi, which he had recently visited for a show on the Namo Ghats. He walked the ramp with Kriti Sanon for Manish Malhotra there.
The video is from Varanasi but the audio has been generated with AI enabled voice. A user posted a split of both the videos – the left side is fake and the right one is real.

He then issued a statement saying: "We want to clarify that Mr Aamir Khan has never endorsed any political party throughout his 35-year career. He has dedicated his efforts to raising awareness through Election Commission public awareness campaigns for many past elections," the spokesperson said in a statement. "We are alarmed by the recent viral video alleging that Aamir Khan is promoting a particular political party. He would like to clarify that this is a fake video and totally untrue. He has reported the matter to various authorities related to this issue, including filing an FIR with the Cyber Crime Cell of the Mumbai Police," the statement read.
Talking about Ranveer Singh, he will be seen with Ajay Devgn in ‘Singham Again’ with wife Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan. Then he has ‘Don 3’ with Kiara Advani which is all set to release next year. There are also reports that he might be seen in Subhash Ghai's 'Khalnayak 2'.
