Renowned actor Rana Daggubati, a lifelong WWE fan made history by becoming the first Indian celebrity to be invited to WrestleMania.

Witnessing the action from the front row, Rana was also given a special shoutout, which was broadcast to WWE fans around the globe. The announcement also comes ahead of Rana Naidu Season 2, which will soon be hitting screens.

The weekend saw a celebration of global fandom, with WWE fans from around the world coming together. Netflix India and WWE hosted a special watch party in Mumbai during the live broadcast of WrestleMania 41.

While the event, held in Las Vegas, featured intense bouts, it also spotlighted the international fanbase, and Rana’s participation marked a historic moment for Indian representation in the sport.

WWE’s arrival on Netflix, combined with Rana Naidu being a fan favourite, highlights Netflix's commitment to bringing diverse, top-tier entertainment to Indian audiences.

Speaking from Las Vegas, Rana Daggubati reflected on the experience, saying, “Being at WrestleMania 41 is a surreal experience—WWE has been a part of all our childhoods. Now, to witness it live and to be able to represent India on a global stage, especially with both WWE and Rana Naidu streaming on Netflix, feels like a full-circle moment."

Further adding to the excitement, WWE superstars Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio surprised fans by donning desi outfits as part of their promotional tour in Mumbai. The duo met with Rana Daggubati and Siddhant Chaturvedi, posing for photos and proudly flaunting the WWE Championship belt.
