The Maharashtra cyber police have ordered Rakhi Sawant to appear for questioning on February 27. Ranveer Allahabadia, who made the controversial comment, has also been summoned and will appear before the police on February 24.
This investigation follows a case filed by the Maharashtra Police against several people, including Samay Raina (the show's creator), Ranveer Allahabadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Apoorva Mukhija, and other panelists involved in the episode. These individuals are being investigated for their remarks, which led to public outrage.

His comments were heavily criticized by political figures, including Maharashtra's Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis. The remarks were seen as vulgar and inappropriate for a public platform, sparking outrage across the country.
The controversy intensified when the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) wrote to YouTube, asking for the removal of the videos containing the controversial remarks. Additionally, social activist Nikhil Ruparel filed a complaint, expressing his strong disapproval of the "obscene and derogatory" comments made by Ranveer.
