Superstar Rajinikanth's highly anticipated action-drama, Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, will hit theatres on October 10th, 2024. Lyca Productions made the official announcement on Monday, along with the release of a new poster featuring Rajinikanth in a powerful avatar.

In their post, Lyca Productions heightened the fans' excitement as the caption read, "Target locked VETTAIYAN is set to hunt in cinemas worldwide from OCTOBER 10th, 2024! Superstar as Supercop! Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi & Kannada!

To build anticipation for Fahadh Faasil's role in Vettaiyan, Lyca Productions previously shared a behind-the-scenes photo featuring the actor alongside cinematic legends Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan. The image was released on Fahadh's birthday, accompanied by a special first-look poster from the film.

Marking Rajinikanth's 170th film, Vettaiyan is a highly anticipated project. The film's title teaser was unveiled on the superstar's 73rd birthday by Lyca Productions.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan. Music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Rajinikanth was last seen in Jailer. Released in August 2023, it was a commercial success, captivating audiences with its action-packed storyline and Rajinikanth's iconic screen presence. The film featured a star-studded cast and was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
