Raid 2 OTT Release: When and where to stream Ajay Devgn starrer action-thriller

Raid sequel is still running in the theatres

Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 is currently running in the theatres and has recently become the second film of the year to cross the Rs 200 crore mark globally after Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava. However, fans have already started speculating about the Raid 2 OTT release date.

According to the OTT play report, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights to the film. The streaming giant often releases a film after its 60-day or 8-week theatrical run. However, if the reports are true, then Raid 2 will be available to stream sometime in July.

Meanwhile, Raid 2 will soon complete three weeks in the theatres with the film grossing Rs 1.65 crore net in India on its 21st day. However, the Rajkumar Gupta directorial film recently witnessed a drop in its revenue following the release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Raid 2 notably marks the eighth film in Ajay Devgn’s career to enter the Rs 200 crore club. The film also features Riteish Deshmukh, Vani Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles, among others.

The film is the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster film and was released on International Labour Day and Maharashtra Day. Raid 2 is set in 1989, Rajasthan, and follows IPS officer Patnaik, played by Ajay Devgn, who raids a palace but fails. He was later transferred to Bhoj, where he investigates Dada Bhai, a respected local figure. Suspended after a failed raid, he uncovers hidden truths.
