Raid 2 day 1 advance booking collection: Ajay Devgn starrer crime thriller to have decent opening with Rs 4.94 crore advance ticket sales

Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 will hit the theatres tomorrow

Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 is all set to hit the theatres on Labour Day, with the makers having already opened the advance ticket window to gather more audience. However. Raid 2 advance booking numbers indicate a promising opening box office.

According to Sacnilk, Raid has collected a net of Rs 2.87 crore from the sale of over 1.08 lakh tickets across India. However, the tally is expected to climb to Rs 4.94 crore after the inclusion of blocked seats.

Maharashtra is currently in the lead and has contributed an estimated Rs 1.23 crore net to the advance booking collection. Meanwhile, Delhi has notably contributed Rs 83 lakh to the tally.

The makers are hopeful about the film, considering the recent challenges. With a long weekend ahead, it will be interesting to watch if the box office of the film's strong pre-booking numbers will turn into actual success.

Meanwhile, the film will clash with the Marvel superhero movie Thunderbolts, which will have an early release in India tomorrow. However, Nani starrer HIT: The Third Case is also expected to give the film a tough competition.

Raid 2 stars Ajay Devgn, Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar and presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 is the sequel to the 2018 crime thriller that captivated audiences with its gripping story of tax raids and corruption. The film continues the high-stakes narrative centred around income tax investigations and corruption.
