Raha Kapoor, the daughter of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, seems to be inheriting her parents’ love for cinema at a very young age. Born into two of Bollywood’s most influential families, Raha has already started experiencing the buzz of film sets. In a recent conversation with Grazia, Alia Bhatt shared that her little one enjoys being around while her parents are working.

Alia, who is currently shooting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated Love & War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, opened up about the joys and challenges of parenting while balancing demanding film schedules. Reflecting on her experience, the actress said, “It sounds cheesy, but there are no cons to this, only pros. The only challenge is maybe Raha’s schedule and time management. We’ve made most of the film at night, so mostly we’d be with her in the day. There are days he’s shooting, days I am, we’re not always shooting at the same time.”

Sharing a glimpse into Raha’s growing personality, Alia revealed how her daughter enjoys accompanying them on sets. “She’s also got very busy life, with classes and play dates and grandparents and activities. Between all of that we’re pretty sorted, it does take a village in a sense, and I feel very grateful for all my loved ones and the privilege that I have with this support system,” she said.
Despite her packed calendar, Alia emphasized the importance of structuring her professional life around her daughter. She explained, “It’s about not taking on more than you should and working with people who understand your priorities and the need for balance. It’s become second nature, finding this balance. Every month, when I’m managing my schedule, I slot it in neatly, nothing is ambiguous.”

The actress also highlighted how much she enjoys being involved in Raha’s daily life and activities, even while managing her career. “I love it, I’m on various groups and planning this and that. Yes, I’m speaking from an extreme place of privilege; I may not have the same story as the mother sitting next to me, but our intent is the same. To be working professionals and at the same time be present parents and to have a bit of both – to be there, hands on, nurturing, growing.”

Meanwhile, Love & War continues to generate buzz as one of Bhansali’s most ambitious projects. Slated for a grand theatrical release on March 20, 2026, the film will see the trio—Alia, Ranbir, and Vicky—coming together for the first time on screen. The team is expected to travel to Italy by the end of October to shoot the film’s climax, further heightening anticipation among fans.
