R Madhavan recently shared his perspective on Aamir Khan's unique habit of traveling without a wallet, a quirk that reflects the superstar's carefree approach to life. Speaking to Just Too Filmy, Madhavan admitted that while he admires Aamir's stardom, he wouldn't adopt the same lifestyle.

“I am never that extreme," Madhavan remarked. "Aamir’s stardom allows him to be like that. Whatever he requires, he has people to pay for it. Of course, he would pay them… and it isn’t like he doesn’t pay for it. I think my personality doesn’t allow me to walk around with an entourage. I prefer walking alone. I want that freedom, and the ability to interact with people."

The actor emphasized his preference for financial discipline, revealing that he always lives within his means. “If I want a bigger car but it doesn’t fit my budget, I won’t buy it," he said, adding that while he isn't overly frugal, he avoids unnecessary indulgences.

Madhavan also mentioned his wife Sarita's view of his spending habits. “She thinks I’m generous to a fault,” he said with a laugh. “I think I’m very particular about it, but she says not even from a remote corner are you particular about it. I spend what I have."
