Pushpa stars reunite in the US: Allu Arjun, Sukumar, Sreeleela spark nostalgia

Superstar Allu Arjun won hearts with his homage to Telugu heritage and a special treat for Pushpa 2 fans during his jaw-dropping appearance at the North American Telugu Society (NATS) 2025 convention.

The 8th America Telugu Sambaralu, which took place at the Tampa Convention Centre in Florida, became a remarkable celebration of identity, language, and film.

The Pushpa star took to the stage amid roaring applause and expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to celebrate Telugu roots overseas. “Last but not least, I would like to thank America for giving us the freedom to celebrate our Telugu culture in this land,” he said in his closing address, drawing cheers from the packed audience.

But the real highlight came moments later. As he prepared to leave, Arjun engaged with the crowd, asking, “Before I leave, let me say a dialogue from Pushpa 2. Darling, what dialogue do you want?” The crowd erupted in excitement. On popular demand, he delivered the powerful line: “Do you think Telugu people mean fire, it’s wildfire.” The thunderous response was a clear testament to the enduring popularity of the Pushpa franchise.

Actress Sreeleela was also present and was seen extending a cordial greeting to renowned director K. Raghavendra Rao. During the ceremony, Arjun gave Rao a heartfelt congrats. As fans shared moments that encapsulated the grandeur and emotion of the celebration, images and videos from the spectacular event swiftly went viral on social media.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Allu Aravind, producer Dil Raju, director Sukumar, and filmmaker Gopichand Malineni were among the well-known figures from the Telugu film industry who attended the event.

Allu Arjun is preparing for his next big project, a pan-India sci-fi action thriller that is tentatively titled AA22xA6, after Pushpa 2, which also starred Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Atlee is in charge of the project, and Deepika Padukone will play a key part.

Reflecting on working with Deepika again after Jawan, Atlee shared, “Now, with her and Allu Arjun sir together, we’re creating something truly unforgettable – real filmmaker’s dream synergy.”

Filming is expected to commence later this year, with further updates on the cast and release schedule to follow.
