According to reports, the blockbuster is likely to premiere on Netflix around January 30 or 31, 2025. However, there is no official confirmation given by the makers. Previously, the makers had confirmed that the film would only be available for streaming after completing a theatrical run of 56 days from its initial release date. On January 17, the makers of Pushpa 2 unveiled an extended version of the film, featuring 20 minutes of additional footage, available in both Telugu and Hindi. This has left fans curious about whether the extended edition will also be released on OTT platforms.

Pushpa 2: The Rule picks up the gripping saga of Pushparaj, portrayed by Allu Arjun, as he strengthens his hold as the leader of the red sandalwood smuggling syndicate. As he rises in power, he faces new and formidable adversaries, including SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil. Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as Pushparaj’s wife.

Meanwhile, the makers have officially announced Pushpa 3, which is set to continue the narrative from the thrilling cliffhanger left in Pushpa 2.
