The well-known Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma, who has chart-topping hits like Jatt Yamla, Jaani Tera Naa, Pagal Nahi Hona, and Chorri Chorri, was recently involved in a startling incident in London.

The singer disclosed on social media that while she was in the city, her car had been broken into and seriously damaged.

In a video that was posted to her fans, Sunanda walked around the car with its windows broken and broken glass all over the parking lot while maintaining her composure. She described the experience with dignity and strength, remaining remarkably composed and even managing a smile.

Sunanda explained that the car was completely destroyed, and along with it, several expensive items were stolen. Among the belongings taken were two Louis Vuitton bags, a suitcase, and a handbag—all of which held personal and financial value for the singer.

"Both were my favourite. Everything is gone," she shared emotionally, revealing how the items had been purchased through her own hard-earned efforts.

In her message, the singer also questioned the level of safety in London, urging local authorities to take such incidents more seriously and improve security measures. The fact that such a theft could occur in a seemingly secure area has raised questions about surveillance and the protection of tourists and public property.

On Friday morning, Sunanda posted a heartfelt video along with a Punjabi caption expressing her heartbreak and disbelief:

"Ve main jehde paase vekhaa, Mainu chor disde. UK waaleyo eh koi gal te nai na, Sari raat neend nai aayi baadshaho, Kehda LV te Kehda Prada, oh gya oh gya oh gya."

Roughly translated, she said, “Wherever I look, I see thieves. People of the UK, this isn’t right, is it? I couldn’t sleep the whole night, my kings. What LV, what Prada — it’s all gone, all gone, all gone. But anyways, maybe we were saved from something much worse.”

Having risen to fame with her debut single Billi Akh, Sunanda has not only dominated the Punjabi music scene with hits like Patake and Tere Naal Nachna, but also carved a niche in Punjabi cinema. Despite the setback, her response reflected grace under pressure and optimism in the face of loss.
