The actress, who lost her father Dr. Ashok Chopra to cancer in 2013, continues to cherish his memory and often shares moments from the past that reflect the deep bond they shared.

Priyanka Chopra had just started filming Mary Kom, a role that required a great deal of physical strength and emotional fortitude, at the time of her father's death. She talked candidly about getting through that challenging time in her life while speaking at the Red Sea International Film Festival.

Four days after her father's funeral, Priyanka Chopra revealed that she went back to work because she thought it was what he would have wanted. She clarified that she used the emotional turmoil to drive her performance, directing all of her grief into the intense fight scenes of Mary Kom.

She was able to deal with the loss by fully committing to the role, which enabled her to portray the boxing champion's inspirational journey while turning her suffering into a source of strength.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka will be next seen in three major Hollywood projects- Citadel season 2, Heads of State alongside John Cena and Idris Elba and The Bluff. She is also reportedly gearing up for SS Rajamouli's SSMB29 alongside Mahesh Babu. This will mark her comeback in Indian films after a long hiatus.
