Actress Priscilla Presley has recently faced some shocking allegations. The latest reports have suggested that Priscilla is accused of allegedly pushing her ex-husband, Elvis Presley, to his death in August of 1977 after applying "undue [financial] pressure" to him in the spring of that year.
According to People, Priscilla's former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, filed a complaint against Priscilla in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday. They have alleged in the complaint that the actress "knew she was entitled to inherit nothing from Elvis.”
In the complaint obtained by the outlet, Priscilla’s business partners claimed, “Despite enriching herself and extorting millions of dollars from Elvis, she then placed a lien on Graceland on or around April 29, 1977, in the amount of $494,024.49, adding pressure to Elvis less than four months before he died on Aug. 16, 1977, from a heart attack and drug complications. Priscilla exerted undue pressure on Elvis, pushing him to his death.”
Kruse and Fialko have also claimed that they “sprang into action to prevent Priscilla’s financial ruin and public embarrassment.”
The complaint reads, "Despite Elvis’ wishes otherwise, Priscilla continued to exploit the Presley name to fund her lifestyle. Eventually deploying another part of her ‘master plan’ to live off the Presley name, Priscilla demanded $13-plus million in 2005 for her own personal gain.”
Meanwhile, Priscilla Presley has denied the claims through her attorney Marty D. Singer. In the official statement, the attorney said, “Priscilla did not have anything to do with the assassination of JFK, she did not cover up Area 51, she did not fake the moon landing, and she is not secretly keeping Bigfoot locked in a cabin in Canada.”
The statement further reads, “Take off the aluminum foil hat and face reality. This lawsuit concerns Ms. Presley’s claims against Ms. Kruse (and her co-conspirators) in which she alleges that Ms. Kruse engaged in a relentless and calculated campaign of elder abuse and fraud in order to take control of Ms. Presley’s finances for her own benefit.”
The attorney added, “Ms. Kruse’s allegations are absurd and despicable, but unfortunately, are not surprising. Ms. Presley looks forward to holding Ms. Kruse and her co-conspirators liable for their wrongful acts.
The amended complaint is the most recent development in the legal battle between Presley and her former business partners.
In August, Priscilla was sued by Kruse and Fialko, who claimed that she "schemed" to defraud them and disregarded her daughter Lisa Marie Presley's health issues just before she passed away in an effort to "regain control" of her estate. Priscilla has denied these claims.
The latest development came just over a year after Priscilla sued them, alleging that she had been the victim of elder abuse and that $1 million had been stolen from her. The lawsuit was later described as "retaliatory" by Kruse's legal team in reference to a 2023 breach of contract lawsuit that Kruse had filed.
For the unversed, Priscilla met the legendary singer and actor Elvis Presley for the first time in 1959. Elvis was serving in the army abroad in Germany at the time when he met Priscilla. She was just 14 years old at the time.
The now former couple tied the knot on May 1, 1967 and got divorced in 1972. Lisa Marie Presley, their only child, passed away in January 2023 at the age of 54.
Meanwhile, Elvis Presley passed away in 1977 from a heart attack. He was 42.
