Prabhas is one of the busiest stars in Indian film currently and has a handful of upcoming releases. One of the much-awaited movies includes The Raja Saab, a rom-com horror film directed by Maruthi.
Fans are excited at having received news about it finally, as the film has been delayed and delayed, and according to reports will hit theatres on the 5th of December, 2025.
What is interesting is that according to reports, Prabhas has taken an unusual step by cutting down his remuneration for the film.
Reportedly, having signed on to charge about Rs 150 crore per film, thanks to the goodwill he shares with the production house behind the project (also the team which produced Adipurush), and considering his earlier film’s box office returns, the Baahubali actor had agreed to lessen his fee for The Raja Saab.
Prabhas To Attempt Horror Comedy In ‘The Raja Saab’The Raja Saab is Prabhas’ first full-fledged horror-comedy. Early posters and teasers indicate a breakaway from his general larger-than-life action image, portraying him in a more playful and charming role.
The film, whose original release date was slated to be 10 April 2025, was delayed on account of the pending VFX. Well, the production is now finished after a few months, and post-production hasn’t stopped working full-time to have the cut ready by the new December date.

What’s Next for Prabhas?After The Raja Saab, Prabhas is essaying the role of Fauji (working title PrabhasHanu} and the much-talked-about Spirit, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He is also doing a special cameo in Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa.
Besides, the star will also re-appear in sequels to high-octane films like Salaar 2 and Kalki 2, both of which are likely to hit floors once he finishes his ongoing commitments. Going by the genre and the surprising reduction in his paycheck, The Raja Saab seems to be an interesting new chapter in Prabhas’s career.
