In thrilling news for Swifties in India, global pop sensation Taylor Swift is set to perform in India for the first time. According to reports from News18 Showsha, she has been approached to grace the pre-wedding celebrations of Jeet Adani, the son of businessman Gautam Adani.

As per a recent report from News18 Showsha, Taylor Swift may be making her debut performance in India. The singer is said to have been approached to perform at the pre-wedding celebrations of Jeet Adani, the son of businessman Gautam Adani, and fiancé Diva Shah.

An insider told News18 Showsha, “Yes, this is true. Taylor Swift’s team is in talks with the Adanis to perform at one of the pre-wedding festivities of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah. Even though Taylor has not confirmed her presence as of now, talks are underway and looks like the grand wedding will mark her first performance in India."

Jeet Adani, the son of Gautam Adani, got engaged to Diva Shah in March 2023 during a private ceremony in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The couple is expected to marry later this year.

Taylor Swift, despite her massive fanbase in India, has never performed in the country. Her Eras Tour recently wrapped up, with stops in only a few Asian countries like Singapore and Japan, which left many of her Indian fans eagerly awaiting her concert. The singer’s absence in India has been a long-standing wish for many of her dedicated followers.
