Pooja Hegde stuns in the latest saree look

Indian film actress Pooja Hegde is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Retro. However, the actress has recently made sure to captivate her audience with a breathtaking look.

Pooja took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos sporting a 70-year-old Kanjeevaram saree. Interestingly, the actress revealed that the saree originally belonged to her grandmother.

In the series of retro-themed photos she shared on her Instagram, the actress strikes different poses for the camera. In one photo, she is sitting on a wooden floor surrounded by white jasmine flowers.

Alongside the photos, she wrote in the caption, “From the vintage closet, a 70-YEAR-old stunning saree.. It took me back to the images of my beautiful Ajji (grandma) in her kanjivarams going about her day, the fresh smell of mallige in the house before getting ready to go for a wedding, and the aromas of the wet mangalore mud after the first rains…”

She concluded her caption by writing, “Oh, the beauty in the simplest things. Through the lens of time.. #retro.”

The actress exuded elegance in a vibrant green Kanjeevaram saree. The green saree featured intricate golden box stripes throughout, elevated by a stunning indigo border that added a pop of contrast. The indigo border was beautifully embellished with traditional golden motifs.

She paired her saree with a half-sleeved indigo blouse in a striking contrast that highlighted the green and indigo hues. She completed her look with a traditional gold necklace and earrings. Pooja elevated her look with a gajra and green glass bangles.

On the work front, Pooja Hegde will star alongside Suriya Sivakumar in the upcoming romance adventure, Retro. The film will hit the theatres on May 1. She will also star in Jana Nayagan.
