Fans of the popular British crime drama Peaky Blinders finally will soon have new product variety, as the story continues with the highly anticipated film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
The film takes viewers back into the dark and gritty world created by Steven Knight as it revisits all-things Biras British actor Cillian Murphy reprises the role of iconic Birmingham gang leader Tommy Shelby.
After years of anticipation and the love millions of people around the world have given this story via TV, the release of this film will be a great addition to their Peaky experience.
The film premiered at Symphony Hall Birmingham on 2 March 2026, where many fans and other members of the production community gathered together to celebrate the franchise's return. After its premiere, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man was released in UK theatres on 6 March 2026, thus giving fans the first complete peek into what happens next for the Shelby family.
For those who prefer to watch the film from home, it will be able to stream on Netflix beginning on 20 March 2026.
Having been created from the world originally envisioned by the creator of the television series, Steven Knight, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man focuses on several deeper themes such as legacy, emotional trauma and the impact of the prior decisions made.
Set during the 1940s, the World War II era, this story involves an older, withdrawn Tommy Shelby, having left behind the life he was once in charge of. After stepping back from that world, he finds himself unable to escape when his illegitimate son Duke begins to take over family business. Tommy is now being forced to deal with his past and the rising fascist threat while at the same time building up to a climactic and dramatic ending.
The film features a strong ensemble cast alongside Cillian Murphy. Rebecca Ferguson appears as Kaulo and Zelda, while Stephen Graham plays Hayden Stagg. Other returning and supporting cast members include Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Packy Lee as Johnny Dogs, Barry Keoghan as Erasmus “Duke” Shelby, Ian Peck as Curly and Jay Lycurgo as Elijah.
