Telugu actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has emerged as the second most searched actor on Google worldwide in 2024. Pawan Kalyan, who was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has captured public's attention, making him the most searched Indian celebrity on the global stage.

According to Google's search data for 2024, comedian and podcaster Katt Williams claimed the top spot as the most searched personality. Pawan Kalyan’s rise to the second position reflects his growing prominence and impact. His political journey, coupled with his existing popularity as an actor, has garnered widespread interest.

The list of the most searched celebrities on Google in 2024 also includes two other notable Indian names: Hina Khan and Nimrat Kaur. Hina Khan, who is the most searched Indian actress on the list, occupies the 5th position. This year, she made headlines with her courageous revelation about her battle with stage three breast cancer. Despite the challenging diagnosis, Hina has remained positive and determined to overcome the disease. In a heartfelt post, she shared:

"I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger."

Nimrat Kaur is ranked 8th on the list.

In India, Stree 2, Kalki 2898 AD, and Laapataa Ladies were the most searched films.

On the series front, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi emerged as the most searched show in India, surpassing popular series like Amazon Prime Video's Mirzapur, the South Korean hit Queen of Tears, and Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 18.
