Paul McCartney new tour dates out

Paul McCartney is officially hitting the road again — and fans across North America are in for an unforgettable musical journey.

The legendary Beatle, now 83, has announced a fresh leg of his acclaimed Got Back Tour, marking his most extensive run of shows in the region since 2022.

Kicking off on 29 September in Palm Desert, California, the tour spans 19 concerts across 16 cities, concluding with back-to-back shows in Chicago on 24 and 25 November. Notably, McCartney will be performing in Palm Springs and Albuquerque for the first time ever, adding a new milestone to his illustrious live career.

A press release teases the experience as a dream for music lovers: “With songs like ‘Hey Jude,’ ‘Live and Let Die,’ ‘Band on the Run,’ ‘Let It Be,’ and so many more, the Paul McCartney live experience is everything any music lover could ever want — hours of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music.”

McCartney originally launched the Got Back Tour in 2022, performing across continents through 2023 and 2024. Earlier this year, he played three surprise gigs at the Bowery Ballroom in New York, a 575-capacity venue that sold out within minutes. Tickets were priced at just $50, and audiences were treated to over two hours of music including sing-alongs of “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” and heartfelt renditions of “Blackbird” and “Let It Be”.

“We’ve only had one rehearsal,” McCartney joked on opening night — though his performance showed no sign of rust.

In a recent blog post, McCartney also revealed his New Year’s resolution: “I’ve been working on a lot of songs, and have had to put it to the side because of the tour... My New Year’s resolution is to finish a new album!”

He’ll be joined on tour by his long-standing band: Paul “Wix” Wickens on keyboards, Brian Ray on bass/guitar, Rusty Anderson on guitar, Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums, and the Hot City Horns, who’ve been part of his ensemble since 2018.

General ticket sales begin on 18 July at 10 a.m.
