Actor Paresh Rawal recently shared that he has backed out from Hera Pheri 3, shocking his fans as return as Babu Rao was well anticipated. As per reports, earlier there were rumours that he left the film due to 'creative differences' with the filmmaker but later the actor refuted those speculations and now has spoken about the real reason.
Paresh recently opened up about him opting out from the comedy franchise. He said, "I know it came as a shock to many. We three make a great combination with Priyadarshanji directing us, but the fact is that I opted out because today I don't feel like a part of it."
He further added, "It is final for the time being. I always say never say never for anything. One cannot predict what happens in the future."
He then also shed light on the fact that neither his fees for the film nor a tiff with the director was the reason for his decision. The actor expressed admiration for Priyadarshan, stating that he holds great respect and trust in him as a director. He reflected on their successful collaborations in the past and affirmed that they would continue working together on future projects.
"There were no creative differences, nor is there a possibility of having any with him. No amount of money compares to the love and respect of my audience. Right now, I just felt it is a role that I don't want to do, that's all," he added.
Earlier today, as per Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar has initiated legal proceedings against Paresh Rawal, citing alleged unprofessional conduct and withdrawal from Hera Pheri 3 despite having signed a binding contract.
Akshay is acting through his company, Cape of Good Films, after purchasing the rights to the Hera Pheri franchise from original producer Firoz Nadiadwala. Notably, this is the first time Akshay has filed a lawsuit against a fellow actor in his 35-year career.
