Hollywood actor Pamela Anderson is gearing up for her upcoming project, The Naked Gun. She portrays the lead Beth Davenport, the femme fatale and a sharp-tongued partner of Deblin. Pamela’s character will pay tribute to the role of Priscilla Presley from the original film.
However, she has recently talked about her character and admitted that her character was something she developed with care and thoughtfulness.
Pamela shared, “I work a lot on the character, before I even get to set. So I bring a lot with me, and then just be flexible enough to work with the director on the character. Whether it’s a drama or a high comedy, I still put the work in.”
The actress further shared that she and the director, Akiva Schaffer, also talked about the backstory of Beth, which helped her portray the character. She went on to praise the filmmaker and said, “He’s a great director. Akiva is very scientific with the jokes.”

She elaborated, “But I also really wanted to bring honesty and authenticity to the character, and vulnerability. So it was a collaboration. But I see some very sincere and tender moments, which I don’t think you’d expect in a film like this.”
The reboot of the classic spoof-comedy The Naked Gun features an ensemble cast including Liam Neeson as Lt Frank Deblin Jr, the bumbling son of the original detective. The upcoming reboot aims to revive the beloved franchise with a fresh cast, modern jokes, while giving a nod to the original legacy.
Paramount Pictures will release The Naked Gun in Indian theatres on August 1, 2025.
