Excitement is reaching fever pitch for Ranveer Singh’s upcoming action extravaganza Dhurandhar, and now fans have a glimpse of how they can watch the film from home.
While the movie is set to hit theatres first, reports suggest that an OTT platform has already acquired the digital rights, meaning the high-octane drama will soon stream online, bringing Ranveer’s intense performance to living rooms across the country.
After its theatrical run ends, the movie is reportedly scheduled for an OTT release, according to OTTPlay.
It is speculated to release on Netflix but makers haven't confirmed the ott release yet and all eyes are on its theatrical release.
Ranveer is shown in the teaser as a RAW agent, code-named The Wrath of God, who must navigate the perilous streets of Lyari, Pakistan, in order to destroy a terror network. Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Arjun Rampal are among the film's outstanding cast members.
The film, which was written and directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Dhar along with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, promises to be an intense, suspenseful experience.
While rumours suggested that Dhurandhar drew inspiration from the life of Major Mohit Sharma, an Army officer and Ashoka Chakra recipient, Aditya Dhar has clarified that the story is not based on Sharma’s life, instead weaving a fictional tale of espionage and courage.
The film’s runtime is already making headlines, with reports indicating that Part 1 will stretch beyond three and a half hours. According to Bollywood Hungama, "Dhurandhar Part 1's length is said to be around 3 hours and 32 minutes. The final runtime has been kept under wraps. But it’s expected to be close to 3.5 hours long. The process of acquiring the censor certificate has begun. Once the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passes the film, the exact runtime will be known."

If confirmed, it would be the longest Bollywood film released since 2008, when Jodhaa Akbar ran for 3 hours and 34 minutes.
Given its sprawling storyline, the filmmakers have decided to split Dhurandhar into two parts. The first instalment is set to release in cinemas on 5 December 2025, with the sequel expected in the first half of 2026.
