Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited film Dhurandhar, slated for a theatrical release on December 5, has already generated massive buzz, especially after the makers unveiled the striking first-look posters of the characters. Now, fresh reports suggest that the action-packed thriller might release as a two-part saga.
According to Bollywood Hungama, a source revealed that the makers are planning to split Dhurandhar into two parts, with the second installment expected to release in the first half of 2026. Although there is no official confirmation yet, insiders claim that the idea of a two-part narrative emerged organically during the edit.
The publication quoted a source saying, “There have been reports that Dhurandhar is a two-part saga. The film releasing on December 5 will be the first installment. It will end at a decisive point, and the story will continue in the second part.”
They further added, “It is said that director Aditya Dhar has shot extensively and the film has shaped up really well. But since it’s very lengthy, they have toyed with the idea of breaking it into 2 parts. If this is the plan, then Dhurandhar’s part 2 will arrive next year, preferably in the first half."
Dhurandhar boasts a powerful ensemble cast featuring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and more.
Inspired by true events, the story follows Ranveer Singh as an undercover spy, shedding light on the courageous missions carried out by India’s special agents inside Pakistan.
Earlier today, Ranveer shared Akshaye Khanna’s intense first-look poster on Instagram. Sporting a blue shirt and streaked with blood, Khanna’s fierce expression has already left fans intrigued.
Over the past few weeks, the makers have also revealed first looks of R. Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt, each adding to the mounting anticipation.
The excitement is set to peak soon, as the trailer of Dhurandhar will be unveiled on November 18.
