Kapil Sharma, along with his team of fun actors and stand-up comedians, has been ruling the hearts of audiences on the small screens. The ace comedian and actor is all set to return in a brand-new avatar, but with the same old cast and also some long-lost friends, with his new show titled “The Great Indian Kapil Show." Here’s a list of things, you can expect this time when the show premieres this weekend on Netflix.

Return of the OG: Sunil Grover

Yes! You guessed it right: Gutthi, aka Sunil Grover, will be reuniting with Kapil after their infamous fight mid-air in 2017. Since then, neither Sunil nor Kapil have spoken much about the fight, which occurred during their return from the Australia tour.

For the uninitiated, Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma got into an ugly spat during which it was reported that the latter threw his shoe on the ‘Sunflower’ actor. Fans of the two actors, who have had a crackling chemistry whenever they have worked together, are eagerly awaiting this reunion and what it has to offer next.

Sunil wowed fans with his Gutthi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati avatars in The Kapil Sharma Show before bidding it adieu after the fight. Sunil recently said he was looking forward to working with Kapil and that he likes collaborating with him. During the launch press conference of the show earlier this month, Kapil and Sunil joked about their infamous spat and termed it a “mere publicity stunt.”

New Guests: Kapoor siblings to make small screen debut together

The show will open with special celebrity guests: the Kapoor siblings, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, along with their mother and actress Neetu Kapoor. Ranbir has appeared on the show many times, and Riddhima was also seen with her mother earlier, but it will be the first time that Ranbir will be seen with his elder sister, who is also making her debut with the reality show ‘Bollywood Wives Season 2’ on Netflix.

Aamir Khan, who is hardly seen on any talk shows, will be making his debut on “The Great Indian Kapil Show." It is not just Aamir, but singer actor Diljit Dosanjh will be seen promoting his upcoming movie ‘Chamkila’ along with the newlywed and his co-actor Parineeti Chopra. Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, along with batsman Shreyas Iyer, will also be seen on the couch with Kapil and his fun team.

Krushna, Kiku combo ready to do some ‘Dhamal’

Krushna Abhishek, who made everyone ROFL all thanks to her Sapna beauty parlour avatar, will be back as an air hostess. In one of the promo shots, Kiku Sharda, who was loved as Bumper Lottery, Bachcha Yadav, is gearing up with his many avatars.

Permanent Guest: Archana Puran Singh Who can miss her?

Archana Puran Singh, who is seen as a permanent guest, also makes a comeback with the old Kapil Sharma Show team. Archana had replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu in 2019. Kapil and others performers have always made fun of her taking someone’s seat, which she takes with a pinch of salt and laughs it off. She has always said there is no negativity on their show.
