‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ Contestant: Everything we know about model Sana Makbul Khan

Bigg Boss OTT 3 has been making headlines with its extravagant house pictures and its colourful list of contestants ahead of its premiere on 21 June. One of the people in the list of contestants is Indian actress and model Sana Makbul Khan. Her entry in the Bigg Boss House has sparked excitement and anticipation amongst her fans. But before the premiere, let’s take a deeper look at her career before the reality show.

Sana was born in Maharashtra as Sana Khan but she decided to change her name to Sana Makbul in 2014 since there were many Sana Khans in the entertainment industry.

Sana Makbul Khan entered the entertainment industry as a model. Her modelling career paved the way for her foray in television commercials, series and music videos. She appeared in the reality show ‘MTV Scooty Teen Diva’ in 2009. She also appeared in the teen musical series ‘Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De.’ Sana was also part of second season of the TV serial ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai.’ After this, she portrayed Lavanya Kashyap in the serial ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?.’

Sana is best known for her role as Dr. Aliya Sanyal in Colors TV’s supernatural drama ‘Vish.’

Sana Makbul Khan also partook in the Femina Miss India and won the title of Femina Miss Beautiful Smile 2012.

Afterwards, she made her film debut with the 2014 Telugu film ‘Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya.’ In the film, Sana played the role of Samhitha, an aerobics instructor, with whom a father and son fall in love.

Sana Makbul is not new to the world of reality television. In 2021, she participated in the enthralling ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi,’ which was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa. Sana emerged as a semi finalist in the show.
