Ashish Chanchlani, one of India’s biggest digital creators, has stepped into a new phase of his career with the launch of his debut series Ekaki. Known for ruling YouTube with his energetic sketches and blockbuster videos, Ashish now expands his creative universe with a long-form narrative that mixes mystery, chills, and comedy in equal measure. With the first episode finally out, viewers are praising the series for capturing Ashish’s trademark humour while introducing an intriguing, darker tone.

After weeks of anticipation built through teasers and music previews, the opening chapter of Ekaki offers a gripping introduction to its world. The episode balances eerie moments with clever punches, maintaining a pace that keeps viewers hooked while staying true to Ashish’s unmistakable charm. His timing, expressions, and signature quirk remain intact even as the story ventures into unsettling, suspense-filled territory.

Ekaki marks Ashish’s most ambitious project to date, both in scale and vision. It is a horror-comedy thriller that combines jump-scares, witty dialogues, and a tense storyline—making it a perfect match for his strengths as a performer and storyteller. Ashish not only leads the show on screen but also drives it behind the camera, serving as the writer, director, producer, and lead actor.

The series brings together a strong creative ensemble from his long-time team. Kunal Chhabhria joins as co-producer, while Akash Dodeja features as the parallel lead. Jashan Sirwani helms the production as executive producer, and Tanish Sirwani shapes the visual and narrative tone as creative director. The screenplay is co-written with Grishim Nawanii, and Ritesh Sadhwani manages production operations as line producer.
