When host Jimmy Fallon inquired about the inspiration behind Sweet Dreams, J-Hope began his response with "Love..." At that moment, an audience member interjected by shouting "Us," referring to BTS's dedicated fanbase, ARMY. This unexpected interruption caused J-Hope to pause briefly before he laughed and responded, "Oh, yeah! That’s right. ARMY. My inspiration. Always ARMY."

While the interaction appeared lighthearted, many fans watching from home expressed their disappointment over the interruption. They felt that J-Hope was about to share a deeper insight into the creative process behind Sweet Dreams, and the interruption prevented him from elaborating on his thoughts. Given that English is not J-Hope's first language, fans believed he should have been given the space to articulate his response fully.
