Nishaanchi Teaser OUT: Aaishvary Thackeray’s double-role debut promises action, drama, and desi swagger

Aaishvary Thackeray, who is the son of film producer Smita Thackeray, is all set to make his big debut in the upcoming film, Nishaanchi. The makers have just dropped the teaser of the film, creating a buzz among the fans.

Nishaanchi teaser was shared on the official social media handle of Amazon MGM Studios India. The trailer was accompanied by the caption that reads, “Tayyari kar di hai! Emosan ka tadka, actsan ka dhamaka, aur gulel, katta, gaadi, ghoda toh hai hi bhaiya (Preparation is done! Emotional tackle, explosion of acts, and gulel, katta, car, horse is there brother).”

The teaser starts with the dialogue, "Bina Bollywood, kauno zindagi kaise jiye?" (How can one live without Bollywood)?” The camera then introduces the characters of the film with energetic music, dance sequences, intense action, and dramatic moments.

Several fans took to the comment section to praise the film. One person wrote, "OBSESSED!!!! Sooooo cool."

Another added, "Debut ho to aisa."

One penned, "Aag laga diii Babloo Dablooo ne."

Aaishvary will be seen in a double role, with each having a different persona. The teaser teases that his character, Babloo, falls in love with fierce and feisty Rinku (Vedika Pinto). However, things get dramatic after his twin brother Dabloo enters the frame.

Monika Panwar plays the mother of the twins. The teases also teases how Babloo wants to make a gang, with Kamaal Ajeeb, played by Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Ambika Chacha aka Kumud Mishra making an entry into their story only to add more drama.

The teases also features peppy numbers, dance sequences, one-liners and intense sequences. Nishaanchi appears to mark a return to filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's roots in "desi" storytelling.

While the official synopsis of the film has been kept under wraps, the teaser teases that the film will be about the complex bond between two brothers, who embark on divergent paths, with their choices ultimately determining their fates.

The film will be produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under the banner of Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films. The Amazon MGM Studios is directed by Anurag Kashyap.

Nishaanchi is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 19.
