Veteran actor Pankaj Dheer passed away on October 15 after battling cancer. The whole entertainment industry has mourned his death.

However, a cryptic social media post about "letting go" shared by his son, Nikitin Dheer, just a few hours before dad Pankaj Dheer’s death, is now going viral on social media.

Nikitin had shared a note on his Instagram story with a picture of Lord Shiva contemplating life.

The picture was accompanied by the quote that reads, “Whatever comes, Let it come. Whatever stays, Let it stay. The quote added, “Whatever goes, Let it go. As a Shiva Bhakt, says 'Shivarpanam' and move on! He'll take care!" - very hard to do.”

Nikitin and his family are followers of Lord Shiva.

Nikitin frequently shared pics with his father, Pankaj Dheer, on his social media. He shared an adorable father-son moment featuring the Martin star lovingly kissing Pankaj Dheer on Father's Day in 2020. He accompanied the post with a touching tribute.

The caption reads, “#happyfathersday Dad.. Thanks for being the man I aspire to be and helping me the man I am.. I love you!”

For the unversed, Pankaj Dheer tied the knot to Anita Dheer, a costume designer, on October 19, 1976. The veteran actor passed away just a few days before celebrating his 49th wedding anniversary.

In addition to being an actor, Pankaj Dheer served as a mentor to numerous people. He actively supported the welfare of artists and mentored aspiring performers as a member of the Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA).
