Nayanthara seeks Rs 18 crore as remuneration for Chiranjeevi's next: Report

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s prestigious project with hitmaker Anil Ravipudi is happening rapidly in the pre-production work and will start rolling soon. The film announced for a grand Sankranthi 2026 release is already creating a lot of buzz among fans and industry circles.

And now, there are reports that the film’s cast is indeed in talks with Nayanthara for the female lead role in the film.

But according to reports in 123Telugu, the actress has demanded a whopping Rs 18 crore as remuneration, a figure that has left the makers guessing about the next best option.

If everything falls into place, this would be Nayanthara’s third film with Chiranjeevi after Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather.

The actress has been busy with back-to-back projects in Tamil and Malayalam.

Meanwhile, her Hindi debut, Jawan has made her popular across the country after working with Shah Rukh Khan and that led to a hike in her remuneration.

Nayanthara is also part of Yash’s Toxic which is said to be having Kiara Advani as well and directed by Geetu Mohandas.

Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela, under the banners of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments, bankroll the Chiru x Anil movie. And bringing musical magic to the project is the talented composer Bheems Ceciroleo, who has been onboarded to score music for the film.

With casting announcements happening one after the other and with shooting all set to commence, there is growing excitement for the next blockbuster from Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi. Shooting is expected to be commencing from May and the film is slated for release for Sankranthi next year.
