Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan, is setting a strong example by prioritizing her education while pursuing an MBA at IIM Ahmedabad. Unlike many of her peers who may spend Saturday nights socializing, Navya chooses to focus on her studies.
At the India Today Conclave, she shared that her Saturdays are dedicated to online classes from 6 pm to 10 pm. "I have always loved learning. It’s never too late to keep learning," the 26-year-old said, emphasizing her commitment to education.
Navya is enrolled in the prestigious Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) at IIM Ahmedabad, a unique two-year MBA course designed for working professionals and entrepreneurs.
This program is tailored for individuals with at least three years of experience, allowing them to pursue higher education without putting their careers on hold. The BPGP combines the flexibility of online learning with immersive on-campus modules, offering the best of both worlds.
In addition to her studies, Navya balances her academic life with her social initiatives, such as Project Naveli, which focuses on bridging gender inequality in India. Despite public scrutiny and the weight of her family’s legacy, she remains focused on her personal and professional growth.
Her passion for learning extends beyond the classroom, where she actively participates in discussions and thrives as a front-bencher. She also values the diversity of her batchmates at IIM Ahmedabad, believing that their varied backgrounds will contribute significantly to her development.
Navya considers herself fortunate to be learning from world-class professors at one of India’s top institutions. She sees this opportunity as essential to her growth as an entrepreneur and professional. Her commitment to both education and social causes highlights her ambition and dedication to making a meaningful impact.
