The granddaughter of Bollywood stars Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, recently shared tidbits about her time at the esteemed Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, where she enrolled in September of last year.
By choosing to pursue an MBA through the Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP), Navya demonstrated her strong bond with the university and gave her followers a closer look at her campus life. She recently shared on Instagram how the campus has grown to be her second home.
One of the images posted depicts Navya lounging with her pals on the IIM-A campus, while another shows the calm and softly lit hallways of the university. In a third picture, Navya is seen posing with her fellow classmates in front of the famous red-brick structures that symbolise the institute's illustrious past. She also posted a photo of herself savouring a light meal consisting of fries, samosas, and noodles, emphasising the small joys of being a student.
“A campus that turned into home," she captioned the post, accompanied by a red heart emoji.
Navya’s mother, Shweta Bachchan, reacted warmly to one of the images of Navya enjoying noodles, commenting, “Yumm.”
Fans flooded the post with compliments, with one netizen writing, “I love maggi! And your simplicity! You are beautiful inside out." Another fan praised Navya’s decision to carve her own path in business, commenting, “Coming from such a legendary lineage, yet you chose to get yourself skilled in the corporate space backed with social entrepreneurship acumen, made me a fan. Keep shining.”
A third supporter wished her the best, saying, “Such a grounded n intelligent girl Navya Nanda.. Best wishes."
Earlier in September, Navya shared a picture marking her enrolment at IIM Ahmedabad, expressing excitement for the next two years ahead. “Dreams do come true!!!!!! The next 2 years… with the best people & faculty! Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) Class of 2026," she wrote.
Navya has chosen to pursue a career in business over a career in film, despite her distinguished family history. She discussed how her upbringing in Delhi, where she heard her father talking about business and tractors, shaped her goals in a recent interview with Elle India. She further solidified her resolve to leave her mark in the business world by revealing, "I never wanted to join films; I wanted to be an entrepreneur."
