Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya is riding on the success of his film Thandel. However, the actor has kicked off the shooting of his upcoming mythological thriller film, NC24.

The makers have already released the first look poster of the film on Chaitanya’s birthday, and now the actor reportedly started the shooting from today. However, further details have been kept under wraps.

According to News18, Naga Chaitanya has expressed his excitement about the upcoming film and noted that the audience will have an incredible experience.

The actor shared, “I believe #NC24 has the potential to connect with a very wide audience. The story is universal in its themes of good versus evil and the fight against destiny, and the visual scale of the film is something I’m incredibly excited for audiences to experience."

Meanwhile, a source has hinted that the NC24 will explore the intersection of ancient prophecies, royal heritage and modern-day reality. It follows three main characters, a treasure hunter, an archaeologist and a history student, as they battle against fate and evil forces in a desperate bid to prevent an impending apocalypse.

Directed by Karthik Dandu, the upcoming film is a blend of action, fantasy, and Indian mythology. However, the first look poster featured Chaitanya standing on a rock inside a cave equipped with mountaineering gear

The upcoming Pan-India film is produced by BVSN Prasad and is tentatively expected to be released in 2025. The makers are yet to confirm the other cast members, but there are speculations that Meenakshi Chaudhary will play the female lead while Sparsh Shrivastava is expected to take on the antagonist role.
