Munjya starts streaming on OTT platform, where to watch the horror comedy

The much-anticipated horror-comedy Munjya has made its streaming debut on Disney+ Hotstar, months after its theatrical release. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film draws from Marathi folklore and features a star-studded cast including Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj.

On Sunday, Disney+ Hotstar announced the film's OTT release with a captivating Instagram post. The motion poster showed Sharvari and Abhay Verma, with Sharvari playing the character of Bella/Munni. The post's playful caption read, "Aapne Munjya ko yaad kiya, aur voh apni Munni ko dhoondne dauda chala aa gaya (You thought of Munjya, who is here to search for his Munni)... Munjya revolves around the mythical creature Munjya and the chaos he brings into the life of Bittu, portrayed by Abhay Verma of The Family Man fame. Mona Singh stars as Pummy, a single working mother who is fiercely protective of Bittu. The screenplay, crafted by Yogesh Chandekar and Niren Bhatt, is complemented by the musical score of Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya.
