The dating reality series MTV Splitsvilla X6 has spared no effort in captivating the viewers. A recent episode featured the arrival of wildcard contestant Ruru Thakur, which altered the dynamics of the villa.

In the most recent episode, Yogesh Rawat admitted his feelings for his former girlfriend while being involved with Akanksha Choudhary. This made her extremely emotional.

Participants were tasked with performing for the entertainment challenge. Although all contestants acted as pairs, Akanksha, Ruru, and Yogesh took the stage as a trio. Following their performance, host Sunny Leone enquired whether his confusion was resolved. Yogesh concurred with her and expressed his affection for Ruru, stating that he has chosen her.

This made Akanksha and several other contestants feel emotional. Sunny embraced Akanksha and comforted her, stating, "A much better person is out there for you."

Yogesh, however, stated, "We have never expressed these words in public, but I adore Ruru.”

As reported by Moneycontrol, the recent episode included a surprising twist as Yogesh Rawat's ex-girlfriend, Ruru Thakur, entered the show as a wild

card competitor. Yogesh had formed a strong connection with Akanksha Choudhary, and their relationship was flourishing.

Ruru's arrival caused a significant shift in their interactions.

Prior to that, photos and videos of Ruru and Yogesh from their last meeting prior to Splitsvilla X6 surfaced on the internet. Even though Yogesh claimed he ended his relationship with Ruru in October, photos of them from November, shortly before joining the show, circulated widely. Yogesh received criticism on social media for allegedly being involved in a relationship while appearing on the dating show.

Yogesh, however, denied the accusations. He shared a clarification video on his YouTube channel, claiming that his feelings for Akanksha were sincere. Still, Ruru's coming changed the circumstances for him.

When the programme started, it was split into two segments: Pyaar Villa and Paisa Villa. The contestants of Pyaar Villa featured Akanksha Choudhary, Anjali Schmuck, Anisha Shinde, Diksha Pawar, Sadhaaf Shankar, Soundarya Shetty, Simran Khan, Chakshdeep Singh, Yogesh Rawat, Sorab Bedi, Anuj Sharma, Tayne De'Villiers, Ayush Sharma, Harshit Gururani, and Himanshu Arora.

The contestants of Paisa Villa featured Keona Walke, Khushi Rawal, Zalak Gohil, Preet Singh, and Anushka Ghosh, Asmita Adhikari, Kaira Anu, Niharika Tiwari, Kushal Tanwar (Gullu), Aarav Chugh, Vishu Bajaj, Ayush Jamwal, Gauresh Gujral, Ron Kariappa, Deeptanshu Saini, and Mohit Magotra. Nonetheless, the two villas have now been combined into a single unit.
