The film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and is expected to be an intense tale of love, betrayal, and revenge. Mrunal recently shared a sneak peek from the sets, giving fans a glimpse of the ongoing production in Hyderabad.

On her Instagram story, Mrunal shared several behind-the-scenes photos and videos. One playful image featured two hands forming a heart pose, and she tagged co-star Adivi Sesh and producer Supriya Yarlagadda. In another lighthearted moment, she posted a video of herself singing along to Dhanush’s iconic song Why This Kolaveri Diwhile driving with her team. She humorously mentioned that this was their alternative to the usual pack-up dance routine.

The storyline of Dacoit revolves around an enraged convict, played by Adivi Sesh, seeking revenge against his ex-girlfriend, portrayed by Mrunal Thakur, who betrayed him. The film also stars Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role. Given the cast and the intriguing plot, Dacoit is shaping up to be an exciting pan-India film with a gripping narrative.

Mrunal Thakur has made a significant mark in Telugu cinema, especially after her blockbuster debut in Sita Ramam. She followed it up with notable performances in Hi Nanna and The Family Star. Her growing popularity in the South Indian film industry has cemented her as a promising actress with a strong fan base.

A few days ago, Mrunal also shared pictures of herself draped in an elegant organza dupatta, adorned with green bangles and makeup preparations. One striking close-up shot highlighted her expressive eyes and calm pose, which she humorously captioned as “channeling her inner apsara.”
