Mouni Roy kicks off Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai shooting with Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur in Scotland

Actress Mouni Roy is enjoying a decent reception at the box office of her recently released film, The Bhootnii. However, the actress has already moved on to her next project.

Mouni has joined the star-studded cast of David Dhawan’s upcoming romantic comedy, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. She will star alongside Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur.

The actress took to her Instagram Story and shared a photo with her co-stars Varun and Mrunal and expressed her excitement to work with them. She shared the update on her serene work trip on her Instagram Story and posted photos with her co-stars.

Alongside the photo, she wrote in the caption, “So glad to be on the set with my beauty @mrunalthakur and the dapper @varundvn #HJTIHH.”

The actress has recently jetted off to Glasgow, Scotland, to join the crew for a month-long shooting schedule.

Previously, Varun has shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the set and revealed in the caption, “Getting bullied by these girls @imouniroy @mrunalthakur #hjtihh #bts.” In the video, the actors can be seen having a fun moment as Mrunal Thakur playfully ties the laces of Varun’s shoes together, while Mouni Roy sits beside her, laughing.

The upcoming film is produced by Ramesh Taurani under the TIPS banner. The film also features Chunkey Panday, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar.

Meanwhile, Mouni has a series of projects lined up in her pipeline. She will collaborate with Khuda Hafiz director Faruk Kabir for the upcoming film, Salahkaar. The upcoming film is scheduled to release in 2025.
