As the world celebrates International Mother’s Day today, several celebrities including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Virat Kohli, Allu Arjun, and Karan Johar extended their heartfelt wishes.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kareena shared a post about the 'strength' that all mothers possess. It read, "Don't underestimate a mother. She's survived pain that would make others crumble. She's endured sleep deprivation that breaks the mind. She's held her baby while holding herself together. No applause. No break. Just relentless love. That's strength."
Karan Johar shared wished his mother, producer Hiroo Johar along with a photo of the duo, on his Instagram Stories and wrote in the caption, ”Love love love love love love YOU!!!!!!! #happymothersday.”
Pushpa actor Allu Arjun shared a series of pictures of his mother, his wife Sneha, and his mother-in-law on Instagram. "Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers out there #MothersDay,” he wrote.
Virat Kohli also took to his Instagram and shared three pictures- the first one featured his actress-wife Anushka Sharma along with one of their kids, the next photo of young Virat with his mother Saroj and the third one of Anushka as a kid with her mother. He penned a heartfelt note in the caption, "Happy mothers day to all the mothers of the world. I was born to one, accepted by one as a son and have seen one grow into a strong , nurturing, loving and protective mother to our children. We love you more and more everyday @anushkasharma"
In a sweet gesture, Neetu Kapoor shared a picture of daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt and wrote, "Happy mothers day my loves."
Producer Boney Kapoor and actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor paid heartfelt tributes to their late mother, Nirmal Kapoor, on social media as they marked their first Mother’s Day without her. Actor Suniel Shetty extended his Mother’s Day wishes with a heartfelt tribute to the mothers of Indian armed forces personnel amidst the ongoing India-Pakistan conflict. “Happy Mother’s Day… to all the brave mothers and to the Motherland,” he wrote, expressing gratitude and respect.
