The highly anticipated film L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal in the lead role, will soon hit the theatres. However, the film has already started creating a buzz around the internet with the latest mysterious poster.

Mohanlal recently took to his Instagram account and unveiled the poster of the film. The poster featured a person standing, leaving the fans baffled. The fans speculated in the comment section that the poster featured Bollywood actor Aamir Khan or Hollywood star Rick Yune.

The poster showed a mysterious figure in black with a striking red dragon design. However, the man’s back was visible, leaving fans wondering about the person's identity.
Alongside the poster, Mohanlal wrote in the caption, ‘2 days to go! #L2E #EMPURAAN In theatres worldwide from 27/03/25.” The actor also added the platform details where fans can book their tickets.

Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy, the upcoming Malayalam action thriller is the second installment of a trilogy, following the 2019 hit film Lucifer. The movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Abhimanyu Singh, among others. It is slated to hit theaters on March 27.
