Medha Rana shares first glimpses from the Border 2 set, writes "thank you for trusting me with something so sacred"

Medha Rana stars in Border 2

Actor Medha Rana is all set to make her theatrical debut in the upcoming war drama Border 2. She will star alongside Varun Dhawan in the film. The actress has officially started the shooting of the film, and Medha has recently shared a glimpse from the set.

Medha took to her Instagram and shared pics from the shoot. Alongside the pics, she expressed her excitement about joining the cast and penned in the caption, “I am endlessly grateful to the team of Border 2 for this honour, thank you for trusting me with something so sacred.”

In the pics, the actress posed with the clapboard with ‘Border 2’ written on it. She looked stunning in a white t-shirt as she posed in a field. She continued sharing the glimpses on her Instagram Stories. She also posted a photo of Varun Dhawan as he captured the beautiful sunset and the Gurudwara.

The upcoming film features a star-studded cast, including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty in pivotal roles. Border 2 is one of the most anticipated films of 2026.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the upcoming film is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series, in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films.

This film carries on the tradition of celebrating the bravery and strong spirit of Indian soldiers. It takes audiences on an amazing journey filled with patriotism, courage, and sacrifice.

While the plot of the film is yet to be unveiled, Border 2 is expected to focus on the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War, specifically the Battle of Longewala.

Border 2 will hit the theatres on January 23, 2026.
