Mark shoot completed: Kiccha Sudeep praises team’s grit, confirms Chistmas release

Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep has officially wrapped the shoot of his upcoming action film Mark, bringing an intense 110-day production run to a close. Nearly two months after the film’s announcement with debutant director Vijay Karthikeyaa, Sudeep marked the moment with a detailed note of gratitude and a set of behind-the-scenes photos that quickly set social media buzzing.

Sudeep took to X to share a long message acknowledging the scale of the challenge and the collective grit that got the team to the finish line. “On 7 July, our team set out with one intention: to accomplish what at the start seemed impossible,” he wrote. “A huge mission to complete in minimal time. What made it possible was not the effort of just a few, but the hard work of every single person on the team. Every member woke up each day with one purpose, worked together with one focus, gave their all, and overcame every hurdle until the goal was reached.”

Confirming that the shoot had officially concluded, he added, “#MarkTheFilm wraps after around 110 days of immense hard work and countless call sheets. We’ve completed major CG, the background score, dubbing, and most of the post-production work. Recalling this journey gives us chills. How did we dare, and how did we achieve it? Limitless love and applause to the entire family of Mark.”

With that announcement came a reminder that the team is sticking to its theatrical commitment. “As the team always said, AS PROMISED… THIS CHRISTMAS,” he wrote, locking in the film’s release window.

The actor also posted a celebratory image from the sets, featuring him with the cast and crew moments after the final shot was taken. The mood in the frame reflects the sentiment of his message: exhaustion, relief, and pride rolled into one.

Back in September, Sudeep had unveiled the title announcement teaser on Instagram with the message, “The fire is lit. The journey begins. The Title Announcement Teaser of Mark is unveiled.” The teaser confirmed the Christmas 2025 release, instantly sparking anticipation among fans.

Mark marks yet another collaboration between Sudeep and Vijay Karthikeyaa after their 2024 action thriller Max. That film, released on December 25, 2024, became the highest-grossing Kannada film of the year. Sudeep produced and headlined the project, playing a cop, while the film also featured Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle, and Anirudh Bhat.

With Mark now officially wrapped and production in its final stretch, all eyes are on its Christmas release — a slot that has become synonymous with Sudeep’s recent box-office victories.
