Iranian actress and model Mandana Karimi has recently faced huge backlash after she shared a controversial post regarding the ongoing India-Pakistan tension.
She took to her Instagram Story and claimed that India had bombed Pakistani Kashmir and was murdering civilians and children just moments ago.
Mandana’s post reads, “The world is on fire. India bombing Pakistani Kashmir murdering civilians and children moments ago. Israel murdered a family in Khan Yunis just moments ago.”
She continued, “America bombed Yemen murdering civilians just yesterday. All of these deaths are a direct response from genocidal powers that learned from each other that you can carry out war crimes with impunity while the world swallows its tongue.”
She concluded her post writing, “Whether it's Zionism, Hindutva fascism or American exceptionalism, imperialism continues to rage on and burn all in its path."
However, Mandana's post was re-shared on Reddit and received backlash. Several social media users criticized her and wrote, “Send her back.”
Another person added, “I will criticise government 100 times a day and I dont agree with it’s policies, but when comes to national security traitors like these need to be kicked out and banned for life.”

A third critic commented, “Thanks to this situation we can recognise the snakes among us.” However, she soon deleted her post following the backlash.
Mandana’s post came after India carried out targeted military strikes on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, sparking widespread online support. The retaliation came after a devastating attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 innocent lives.
