Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly, who was accused of sexual assault by a woman, has now alleged that this complaint might have been 'orchestrated' by industry insiders.
Nivin Paul has already filed a complaint against the sexual assault case
According to Indian Express, Nivin has claimed in his complaint that these allegations are a part of a larger conspiracy and that the people in Malayalam industry could be behind it.
Nivin Pauly has dismissed all the allegations levelled against him and said that he is innocent. He has also asked for proper investigation to know who is behind this move to malign his image and career.
Nivin Pauly has filed his complaint with the Director General of Police (DGP) and the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on September 7.
Sexual harassment allegations
In was on September 3, a woman filed a sexual assault case against Nivin Pauly. She accused the actor of having misbehaved with her during an event in Dubai last November.
Soon, Nivin also tweeted his response to sexual harassment allegations and termed them ‘baseless’.
“I have come across a false news report accusing me of abusing a girl. Please know that this is entirely untrue. I’m determined to go to any extent to prove these allegations are baseless and will take all necessary steps to bring those responsible to light. Thank you for your concern. The rest will be handled legally,” Nivin wrote on his social media handle.

Sexual assault allegations on Nivin Pauly come at a time when several revelations have been made in Malayalam film industry ever since the Justice Hema Committee Report became public.
FIRs have been registered against several known personalities in the Malayalam film industry including Mukesh, Siddique, Jayasurya, Edavela Babu, Maniyan Pillai Raju, directors Ranjith, V. K. Prakash, production executives Vichu and Noble after women actresses registered complaints.
