Malvika Mohanan talks about fake feminism

Actress Malavika Mohanan known for her role in The Raja Saab has recently made shocking comments about male actors and feminism. She criticized those who claim to be feminists claiming they behave differently when it comes to real actions. Malavika expressed that these actors wear masks and their actions contradict true feminism.

Malavika has become famous not just for her acting but also for her bold statements. She shared her opinion on feminism, stating that in the film industry, patriarchy has become deeply rooted. She openly criticized male actors who act as feminists. According to her, "I know how these male actors wear a mask and walk around."

In a recent interview with Hotterfly, Malavika talked about how the film industry is still dominated by patriarchy. "I believe that this inequality (patriarchy) will never end in the film industry," she said. She also mentioned how male actors have learned to handle feminism and casting couch topics intelligently. "I think heroes and male actors have become very smart in handling these things," she added.

Malavika shared that male actors know exactly what to say to be seen as feminists or equal-rights supporters. She stated, “They know what words to say to appear as someone who treats women equally, as someone who is forward-thinking, as a feminist." However, she also pointed out that when the cameras are off, these same actors often show misogynistic behavior. "I have seen them act misogynistic when no one is watching," she added.

Malavika's Upcoming Projects

Despite her controversial remarks, Malavika continues to be a busy actress. She entertained audiences last year with the Tamil film Thangalan. Currently, she is acting in the Hindi movie Yuddhra and has been cast alongside Prabhas in the Telugu film The Raja Saab.

Along with Malavika, the movie The Raja Saab will feature Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar. Rumors suggest Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will play a guest role in the film, although there is no official confirmation yet. Additionally, Malavika is working with Tamil actor Karthi in Sardar 2.
