On June 7, 2025, Zawe Ashton confirmed that she is expecting her second child in an exclusive interview with Vogue. The announcement was made in conjunction with an eye-catching maternity photo shoot in which the actress looked stunning in a flowing cape and a pale blue Emilia Wickstead gown.

Following the announcement on Saturday, June 7, the couple went to SXSW London to see Hiddleston's The Life of Chuck premiere in the United Kingdom, where Ashton flaunted her growing baby bump on the red carpet.

The 42-years-old Emilia Wickstead shared that designing the maternity gown for Zawe Ashton to wear at SXSW held special significance for her and felt like a full-circle moment. She remembered how the actress had wore a delicate pink gown from her label during Zawe's previous pregnancy, exuding a serene glow while keeping the pregnancy's secret to herself. “Dressing Zawe is always a joy, but this moment feels especially meaningful and full circle,” she recalled.
