
Anupama Parameswaran starrer intense suspense thriller, Lockdown, is all set to make its way to the OTT platform. The film hit the theatres on January 30, 2026, and it will start streaming more than a month after its theatrical release.
Directed by AR Jeeva and distributed by Lyca Productions, Lockdown will stream on Amazon Prime Video from March 11, 2026.
The official social media handle of Lyca Productions announced Lockdown’s OTT release with an intense poster. The poster was accompanied by the caption, “A story of fear, resilience, and survival reaches your screens. #Lockdown now streaming on Amazon Prime.”
The poster featured Anupama’s portrait with tears in her eyes. The poster revealed the OTT release date of the film. The film was originally released in Tamil, but it is now available in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam languages.
Lockdown explores the lives of individuals who encountered perilous circumstances during the COVID-19 pandemic. Anupama stars as Anitha, who endures a disastrous personal crisis during complete societal collapse.
The psychological thriller shows the raw emotional and mental health that people experience when they are alone. The main character of the movie is introduced through her relationship with his parents, who display their inner battle through a range of replies.

Anitha, the protagonist of the film, loses stability in her life following a single incident, which gets worse when the government imposes a three-week statewide lockdown. NR Raghunanthan and Siddharth Vipin wrote two distinct musical compositions for the film, which use their combined musical aspects to generate suspense.
Lockdown received mixed reviews from the critics and the audience during its theatrical release.
