Actress Ashlesha Sawant, who made her acting debut with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Teesha Mehta Virani, is set to reprise her role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 ahead of its premiere today, July 29. She wrote a long note expressing her gratitude.
Ashlesha took to Instagram on Tuesday and shared two pictures with Smriti Irani who will make returns as the iconic Tulsi Virwani in the show.
She wrote in the caption as she expressed her admiration for the veteran actress. "I remember telling you i can’t wait for you to come back. And it’s happening with how it all started for you and for so many of us. I love you @smritiiraniofficial and it gives me immense happiness to say #kyunkisaasbhikabhibahuthi is back !!!! I’ve had the honour of learning from you and seeing you perform."
Further stating the show's TRP, Ashlesha continued, "Kyunki has seen a TRP of 22 yes that’s right 22 highest ever of any show on Indian Television. Congratulations to my mothership @balajitelefilmslimited @ektarkapoor @starplus and the entire team of #kyunkisaasbhikabhibahuthi."
"My heart Is full of love and blessings for the new team ..,, coz i was blessed with the best when i started and the blessings continue ..,, so pour in your love too and tune in tonight," her post concluded.

Ashlesha Sawant was last seen in the television show Jhanak, where she played the role of Arshi. The show brought about a nostalgic reunion with her Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi co-star Sumeet Sachdev, as the two, who portrayed a couple in the iconic 2002 series, once again stepped into the roles of husband and wife on screen.
